🔧 Warranty Policy – AftertreatmentParts.com

What’s Covered

AftertreatmentParts.com warrants that all new parts sold are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions.


🕐 Warranty Coverage Periods

Product Type Warranty Period
Emissions System Components (e.g., NOx sensors, dosing valves, wiring harnesses) 365 days from purchase date
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Pumps 365 days from purchase date
All Other Components 365 days from purchase date

Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase, not installation.


What’s Not Covered

  • Improper installation, contamination, or incorrect application

  • Damage from abuse, impact, modification, or other system failures

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Shipping, customs, duty fees, brokerage

  • Labor, diagnostic time, downtime, shipping, towing, or other incidental or consequential costs


🛠 Parts Not Installed by AftertreatmentParts.com

We understand many customers install parts independently. If the part is not installed by our team:

  • The warranty still applies to manufacturer defects

  • However, the burden of proof lies with the purchaser.  Many parts fail due to external factors.

  • The part must be returned for inspection and bench testing

  • If found defective, we will issue a replacement, credit, or refund, at our discretion


🔄 Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Contact us at support@aftertreatmentparts.com to begin your claim

  2. Provide:

    • Order number

    • Part number

    • Description of issue

    • Photos and/or scan tool diagnostics (if available)

  3. Return the part to our warehouse (shipping instructions provided)

  4. We inspect and test the part to confirm the issue

  5. Upon validation, we’ll issue a replacement, store credit, or refund


⚠️ Important Note on Replacement Purchases

If a customer purchases a replacement part from another source before returning and receiving a warranty decision from AftertreatmentParts.com:

  • The warranty claim may be denied

  • We require a fair opportunity to evaluate the part

  • If your part fails under warranty, we will provide a replacement, not a refund.

🔁 Return Policy – AftertreatmentParts.com

Standard Returns

  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery

  • Part must be:

    • Unused and uninstalled

    • In original sealed packaging, with part label intact

    • Accompanied by original invoice or order number


Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or installed electrical components

  • Custom or special-order parts

  • Any item not in resalable condition

  • Items returned without authorization


💵 Restocking Fee

  • A 15%–25% restocking fee may apply based on:

    • Time elapsed since purchase

    • The cost of payment processing, administrative loads, etc

    • The cost of shipping is non refundable.  Packages with "FREE" shipping will have costs associated that are non refundable.

    • You will be respondible for the cost of export/import duty & processing fees, these are non refundable.

📦 How to Return a Part

  1. Email support@aftertreatmentparts.com to request a Return

  2. Include your order number and reason for return

  3. If your return is approved, we will provide a  prepaid return label.  You MUST use this label, as the proper declarations need to be made for customs, otherwise we will incur fees to receive the package which will be billed back to you.

  4. Once received and inspected, we will process a refund or store credit, minus any applicable restocking fees.
